Students are expected to:
- Arrive on time and prepared for class with necessary materials.
- Respect their environment, teacher, and classmates.
- Be responsible for their learning by putting forth their best effort at all times.
- Being prepared requires having homework and assignments handed in on time or early. Late assignments will be completed at lunch hour with teacher help. In cases when this is not possible, a new due date will be negotiated between teacher and student.
- Students are expected to follow school expectations as outlined on the OPA website.
- Cell phones/devices are permitted to be used only when directly linked to instruction.
Evaluation
- A variety of tests, quizzes, in-class assignments, homework quizzes, and journal responses will be used to assess the students' understanding of each outcome. This information will be used to determine a numerical grade at the end of each term.

- Extra Help - is available at lunch hour in my classroom at student request. Students are encouraged to bring their lunches with them.
